A WEEK IN FRENCH WINE COUNTRY: THE RHÔNE VALLEY!
This wine tour is offered by Dry Creek Valley Wine Tours. Join us, your hosts, Bruce and Meg and other wine enthusiasts for a week long visit to the RHÔNE VALLEY. We'll explore the vineyards of such well-known regions as Côte Rôtie, Hermitage, and Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Our focus is on Rhone-style wines that are produced here in the Dry Creek Valley, from Syrah, Viognier, Grenache, to name a few grapes . You'll have plenty of time to venture out on your own from your peaceful country lodgings and enjoy the sights of the French wine country.
Let us handle the details so you can focus on the magic of this world renowned wine region. The week long tour (Sat-Sat) will provide many opportunities to discover the food and wine of the Rhône Valley.

Your tour includes a 90-minute professional massage to put you in the perfect mood to enjoy your stay in France!
The tour dates for 2016 are tentatively set for September 23 -October 1. That's seven nights in the Rhône Valley! You will be staying in a secluded charming country hotel centrally located for convenient access to the vineyards.
Your cost is $1,100 per person.(Airfare not included.)

Bruce will be both your guide and driver. This will be my 14th visit to France! I have taken many groups to France when I operated a bike tour company. Travel with me and I'll help eliminate the surprises! Meg is a certified massage therapist with 20+ years experience and will be scheduling a relaxing massage for you during your visit.
Dégustation. In a word: wine tasting. Visiting the wineries in France is very different than here in the USA. Mostly by appointment. I'll make all the arrangements! Fees included.
Food. Your breakfast will be provided at the chambre d'hôte (rural B & B). Dinner meal plan available. I will provide a list of local restaurants. As for your Lunch, the group may decide to put together a Picnic and head for the countryside.
Lodging. You will be staying in a comfortable country hotel(double occupancy). These Chambres d'Hôtes as they are called are full of French country charm. Relax in the quiet gardens or take a stroll through the French countryside.
